Day 1: Marrakech (Arrival)

Day 2: Marrakech – Ouirgane

This morning, leave the city behind as you journey into the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in the peaceful village of Ouirgane, set among red hills, olive groves, and pine forests. From here, head to a nearby Berber village where you’ll be welcomed into a local home for a traditional lunch with a Berber family a warm, authentic experience and a chance to learn about their culture and way of life. After lunch, enjoy a gentle walk through the countryside, starting at the Assif Azdeb bridge and winding through olive orchards and forested paths. Along the way, stop to admire the views over Lalla Takerkoust Lake and pass through the quiet villages of Tikhfist, Torort, and Anraz. Return on foot to your hotel, nestled in landscaped gardens with mountain views. Take a moment to relax or just soaking up the fresh mountain air. Day 3: Ouiragane - Ouled Berhil

Today, we travel deeper into the High Atlas Mountains, making our way toward Ouled Berhil. Along the way, we’ll stop to visit the impressive Tinmel Mosque, a historic 12th-century site once at the heart of the Almohad dynasty. Before entering, we’ll take a short walk across the Oued Nfiss Valley for a stunning view of the red-brick structure set against the mountains. Though no longer in use, the mosque's elegant arches and carved Mihrab offer a glimpse into Morocco’s rich architectural heritage. Back on the road, we’ll enjoy one of the most scenic drives in Morocco as we cross the Tizi n’Test Pass (2,092 m). The winding route offers spectacular views over valleys, peaks, and the Toubkal Massif, before descending into the Souss Plain, lined with orange groves and farmland. Tonight, we’ll stay in a charming traditional riad in Ouled Berhil. Set in lush gardens with fountains, fruit trees, and an outdoor pool, this peaceful property offers a touch of Moroccan elegance.

Day 4: Ouled Berhil - Afensou Valley - Ouled Berhil

This morning, we’ll take a scenic drive into the Western High Atlas Mountains, heading toward the peaceful Afensou Valley. We'll begin with a panoramic stop to admire the views, then follow a gentle trail down to the village of Afensou, passing farmland and local fields along the way. In the village, we’ll enjoy a traditional home-cooked lunch at a family-run guesthouse. Expect a delicious tagine, slow-cooked with spices and dates, served with fresh khobz (local round bread) a perfect taste of mountain hospitality. On the return journey, we’ll visit Taroudante, a historic walled town known as “Little Marrakech.” With its lively markets and old city charm, it’s a great place to experience everyday Berber life and browse local crafts. Today’s walk: Approx. 4 km | 2 hours | 100 m descent.

Day 5: Ouled Berhil – Sidi Mbarek – Sidi Kaouki - Essaouira

This morning, say goodbye to the Atlas Mountains as we journey west toward the Atlantic. The scenic drive takes us through coastal villages, banana plantations, and stretches of ocean views. Along the way, keep an eye out for a unique local sight — goats climbing Argan trees, drawn to the fruit growing high in the branches. We’ll stop in the quiet village of Sidi Mbarek for a beautiful walk along the coastline, passing sand dunes and open beaches with sweeping views of the sea. The walk ends in the laid-back surf town of Sidi Kaouki, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us to our final stop: Essaouira. Set within old Portuguese walls, Essaouira is a relaxed fishing town full of charm and history. Tonight, we stay at a traditional riad inside the medina – a peaceful retreat with a sunny terrace and leafy courtyard, perfect for soaking in the atmosphere of the coast. Today’s walk: Approx. 12 km | 2 hours | Flat terrain

Day 6: Essaouira (Optional City Tour)

Start the day with a guided walk through Essaouira, a coastal town full of character and charm. Step inside the walled medina, where narrow streets are lined with colourful shops, art studios, and local craftsmen at work. Stroll along the old ramparts, taking in the sea breeze and views over the Atlantic Ocean. At the busy harbour, watch the iconic blue fishing boats bobbing in the water and see fishermen sorting their fresh catch for the day. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You might wander the medina, relax on the sandy beach, or find a café to sit and soak in the laid-back coastal vibe.

Day 7: Essaouira – Marrakech (Optional City Tour)

After breakfast, we travel back to Marrakech, where the colours, sounds, and energy of the city are waiting to welcome us once again. On arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour through the heart of the old city. Pass by the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, then visit the elegant Bahia Palace, known for its intricate tilework, carved arches, and peaceful courtyards. Along the way, stop at a traditional bakery for some fresh local pastries, then dive into the lively medina, filled with narrow lanes and vibrant souks. You’ll pass stalls selling spices, carpets, ceramics, and handmade goods, with a stop to taste local dates and almonds at a spice shop. We’ll end the tour at the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, where musicians, food stalls, and performers bring the city to life.
